Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic
Viktoria joined the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, International Affaires Section on position of head of Development Cooperation Unit in early 2016. Her role is to manage and strategically form the agenda of ministry’s development cooperation policy. Previously she served in non-governmental and private sectors. During the years in civil society she specialized in policy development with emphasis on transparency (freedom of information, public participation in decision making processes and lobbying, and transparency and ethics in judiciary) and hate crimes problems in Slovakia, Russia and Eastern Partnership countries. She worked for Pontis Foundation, largest Slovak foundation; Open Society Foundation, world-wide human rights advocates. Before she joined civil society, she had worked for CEC Government Relations, the independent international public affairs agency. As a consultant, she was involved in parliamentary lobbying, legislative analysis and drafting, and coalition building. Viktoria holds Master’s degree in Management of Business Administration and postgraduate degree in European integration from European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA), the Netherlands.
